FOUR DAYS TRAVEL WITH A TOY CAMERA???

Travelling to Cagayan de Oro City from Davao City is tiring but it is also an opportunity to see ordinary things differently using my humble digital toy camera.

Maybe you are wondering why I am fond of using this "toy camera" or the Mini TLR simulation camera versus my other cameras or even my phone camera?

The image resolution, the capability to capture in low lights or fast movements of this toy camera is way inferior compared to my phone camera. Phone cameras are better than this little thing.

The way I capture images using this humble camera is the answer.

It makes me think before pressing the shutter.It makes me feel more or experience more the surroundings before I click. It makes me See and create something that is already there but unseen.

All of the above can also be done with my other cameras but this toy camera forces me to slow down and be one with my self before I take an image.

Another thing that this toy camera can do but my other cameras or my phone camera can't do instantly is it's 12mp resolution done in a small sensor that gives me a filmish images.

I've been a photographer for more than a decade. Taking photographs of any kind of events and in the long run, I forgot how to create images with a heart. I forgot how to be happy while taking and making photographs, I forgot how to slow down while taking images... in short, I don't know how to photograph because photography is creatively clicking with a heart.

But having this little toy camera, it challenged me how to see, how to take and make photographs again.
